COVID 19 Notice

Here at TEFC and TEFL.Org we would like to reassure students booked onto our courses that we are taking our responsibility seriously and wish to do all we can to work in line with the government guidelines to delay and contain any risk of spreading the COVID-19 virus.

In light of the new guidelines announced by the USA &UK governments recently (avoid unnecessary contact, avoid non-essential travel and home work where possible), we have decided to take the following steps:

  1. Classroom courses will be suspended until mid-June 2020. We will continue to review the situation in the coming weeks.

  2. Our staff will be assigned to home working from Wednesday 18th March. Because of this, phone contact with the office will be suspended, all communications will be conducted by chat on the website or email

What does this mean for you?

Please email the office with your preferred dates, which are available on the website. We will assign you to this course. If you are unable to take a future course then please contact the office by email.

Your online courses remain unaffected. Certificates will be sent out within 14 days, please contact us if you need it more urgently.

If you want to book a classroom course you may do so on a date after June, if there is no change in the COVID-19 situation then we can move your preferred date at no charge.

Contacting us

Because we will be home working and have limited staff, only email and web chat will be available, so we ask for your patience and understanding. Please be assured that we will respond to your enquiries.

To ensure that your enquiry gets to us please email us at info@tefcinc.com or  info@tefl.org.uk or visit the web site and start a chat, but please bear in mind we expect to be busy.

We will be in touch with updates as the situation unfolds and in the meantime wish you all well.

Very best wishes,
Dr. Joni & Mr. Jong, TEFC, Inc. Founders

and

Jennifer and Joe, The TEFL Org Founders

UPDATE:

As of July, 2020, the in-person classes in Los Angeles are available with restrictions. Students are placed behind plexi--glass, given and are required to wear a face covering, and an ample supply of hand sanitizers are available and strategically placed throughout the facility.

Additionally, Los Angeles now offers a virtual classroom option.
